Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili appealed to court against the refusal of the State migration service to give him refugee status. On Thursday, November 2, he said on his page on the social network Facebook.
“Protection Mikheil Saakashvili appealed to court against yesterday’s decision of GMS in the Kiev region About the refusal of M. Saakashvili in the preparation of documents for resolving the issue of recognition of person who needs additional protection”, – stated in the post.
Saakashvili insists that the decision service is allegedly unreasonable, unlawful and violates his rights to receive in Ukraine added protection against possible illegal extradition to Georgia.
According to him, lawyers November 2 filed a lawsuit in the District administrative court of Kiev.
