Former President of Georgia, former head of the Odessa regional state administration Mikhail Saakashvili said that he had received offers of citizenship from several countries of Europe. He said this in the video that was posted on his official page in social network Facebook.
According to Saakashvili, judging by the offers from European countries, without cause, he will not. But still he intended to go to Ukraine.
“As you know, I decided to head back on 10 September in Ukraine. Many people do not suggest me to do this. I’ve got an offer of citizenship from several European countries, without a case I will not stay here. But I remember at the time, at the direction of Putin Russian oligarch Ivanishvili filed against me a criminal case, so I could not participate in Georgian politics. Similarly, Poroshenko issued a decree and threatens to take me back to Georgia”, – Saakashvili said.
“See you at the Ukrainian-Polish border”, he added.
