Saakashvili called the failures of the President of Ukraine in Georgia.
The former head of the Odessa regional state administration, Mikheil Saakashvili believes that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his visit to Georgia made at least two mistakes.
A message appeared on his page in Facebook.
“First, he said: “unfortunately, Georgia does not have such an effective agreement, as the Minsk agreement, which provided for the withdrawal of Russian troops.” In fact, in 2008, we signed an agreement Sarkozy-Saakashvili-Medvedev, envisaging the withdrawal of Russian troops, but, unlike the President, in 2008, I refused to make a commitment to consolidate the status of these territories, as urged Sarkozy to feed Russia, and Poroshenko was forced to yield to the pressure and turned on the question of the territories as part of the agreements,” – said the politician.
In addition, he notes that the Georgia contract was signed and the contents of the agreement were not onerous, in contrast to Minsk, though Russia, as in the case of Ukraine, it has not fulfilled.
“And the second error concerns me personally (extradition of Saakashvili in Georgia “24”). What if the government of Georgia controlled by Russian oligarch Ivanishvili will address? Are You ready, in violation of the Constitution and international law, to discuss the transfer of a citizen of Ukraine? Change your legal advisers, Mr. President!” – emphasizes the former head of the Odessa regional state administration.
Former Georgian President said Georgia “lowered” Ukrainian guarantor.
