The passport had disappeared from the bus that was searched by the police.
The politician said that the Ukrainian side refused to accept the statement of additional protection at the checkpoint “shehyni”, after which the crowd “has made it on hand to Ukraine”, and the passport he left on the bus.
“The police came, searched the bus and stole my passport,” he said.
However, Saakashvili said that he had “no hidden agenda” and he intends to soon begin “to travel around the country and speak with people.”
“I came back to Ukraine to go to court and defend their rights. I returned to Ukraine, because I believe that I have responsibilities. I am ready, without any pathos to give their lives for this nation,” he said.
He also said that their stay in Ukraine is legal.
