Russians warned about the risk of rising prices for imported perfumes

In Russian stores because of the new rules for the labelling of foreign perfumes may decrease the assortment of perfumes and toilet waters.

The risk warned manufacturers and importers, reports the newspaper “Izvestia”.

Moreover, the direct selling Association expect the appreciation of perfumes from Europe and America by 5-15%.

Under the new rules, proposed by the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, from July 1, 2020 manufacturers and suppliers should be placed on packaging of goods, digital codes, and in the case of imported products will have to do it before crossing the state border of Russia — abroad or at the customs warehouses.

Recall that the Ministry of industry and trade since March this year launched a pilot project for the labelling of certain goods, including food, tobacco, medicines, shoes. The goal is to combat counterfeit.
