Russians illegally snuck into Sweden to save the cat

He had a lifetime ban entry into the country.

52-year-old Russian citizen was denied entry to Sweden in 2014, due to false reports of an explosive device on Board the aircraft. The liner had to land urgently in Sweden. The man came back for his cat who was taken to the animal shelter.

However, the longing for a pet overcame him and he decided to pick up the cat. To do this he had to secretly sneak into the country. He was detained on the Øresund bridge between Denmark and Sweden, when the checkpoint was discovered that his passport is included in the database. Now he faces charges of violating the law on foreigners and expulsion from the country.

“If not for the cat, I would not come back here,” said the man in the interrogation.

His lawyer is going to help him rescue the animal. According to the man, his cat – very timid and not given into the hands of strangers.
