Russian woman fed the fish in the prohibited zone.
In Thailand, police arrested 53-year-old citizen of Russia Olga Smirnova, violated rules of conduct at protected area.
The woman was charged with feeding the exotic fish on the island of Racha Yai in the Andaman sea, the newspaper notes.
Smirnov was taken to the police station on the island of Phuket and charged with feeding the fish and marine animals in floodplains. Such a crime shall be punished by imprisonment of up to one year or a fine of up to $2.8 thousand
