Russian TV channel deception was laid off two hundred employees

Russia has cut 200 employees of TV channel “Culture”, and in total there are about 800 people

It is known that the channel “Culture” is included into holding VGTRK, its funding in 2017 amounted to 23 billion rubles.

It is also reported that the channel was occupied 19-e a place in the national ranking for the week from 29 may to 4 June.

Different employees may differ in their comments, however, fired from 200 to 300 people.

Redundancies a month and a half ago gave off leaves, promising to hire them some time back.

This action staff explained the upcoming reorganization of the channel, however, it became clear that back to take them no one is going.

The result is fired as employees of the technical services, and journalists, editors, producers, photographers. Many of the dismissed employees worked in TV for over 15 years. Also reduced almost all pensioners.

It is known that in may the Ministry of Finance has proposed to increase funding for public media at 2.5 billion rubles. The total cost to the state media, thus, will be almost 76 billion roubles.
