Russian security forces stormed the temple of the UOC-KP in Crimea

The head of Majlis Refat Chubarov said that the aggressor country, the Russian Federation pushes the Crimean Tatars from the Peninsula.

Today, Russian security forces stormed the premises of the main temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate in Crimea, used force against the Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea uptskp Clement and damaged his hand. About this in his Facebook said the head of Majlis Refat Chubarov.

According to him, the barbaric attitude of the Russian invaders to the priests and the parishioners of the UOC-KP on the Peninsula constant repression and persecution against the Muslims of the Crimea are evidence of the strengthening of Russia of a deliberate policy of eviction of the Crimean Tatars and ethnic Ukrainians outside of Crimea and their replacement by ethnic Russians imported from mainland Russia.

Russia has occupied the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 year. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially declared on 20 February 2014 beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia. Key international organizations, including the UN General Assembly has condemned Russia’s actions and called the annexation and occupation of Crimea illegal. Against Russia were imposed economic sanctions. For the implementation by Moscow of the so-called elections with the participation of the Crimea in 2016-m to year the Parliament of Ukraine recognized the Russian state Duma is illegitimate.
