Russian police detained 60 protesters

Российская полиция задержала 60 протестующихMost of the demonstrators were detained in St. Petersburg.

In various cities of Russia, police detained about 60 people that came to rally in support of the defendants in the case “Network” and “the New greatness”, said on Monday, October 29, OVD-info. The detention was made in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-don.

In Moscow was arrested 18 activists. The three of them left for the night in the police Department. They were supplied protocols at part 8 of article 20.2 of the administrative code, the rest were released with the protocols in part 5 of article 20.2 of the administrative code.

Most of the activists of 40 – were detained in St. Petersburg. One of the detainees – minors. At least 16 people were left in the police Department with the protocols under part 5 of article 20.2 of the administrative code. Dmitri Belov drawn up under part 1 of article 20.2.2 of the administrative code (organization of mass simultaneous stay of citizens in public places, which caused violation of the order).

In Rostov-on-don was detained one person. He’s already released.

The day before in different cities of Russia held rallies in support of the defendants in the case “Network” and “the New greatness”. In Moscow, a protest event took place at the Lubyanka, after which some activists staged a March and was arrested. In St. Petersburg people came to Nevsky prospect, where riot police almost immediately began to push back and delay.
