According to the Minister of defense, Russia is not able to fight against the whole world.
The aggressor state Russia in the case of capture of Ukraine will not stop on reached and will continue military expansion against the other countries of the world. The Minister of defence Stepan Poltorak said during a visit to Canada.
“I don’t think that Russia today is able to fight against the whole world, but the threat is there, and I know that if Putin will be able to seize the Ukraine, it will not be the last,” he said, noting that Ukraine needs international support to curb Moscow’s actions for the further seizure of territory.
Poltorak also urged Canada to soberly assess the danger posed by the aggressor state. “Do not think that Russia is far away. Tomorrow Russia will provoke conflict with Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and your soldiers as members of the Alliance will be forced to fight Russia. And then it will be your war,” – said the head of the defense Ministry.
He stressed that predict further actions of the Kremlin is very difficult, if not impossible. “I have the impression that Putin himself does not know what will happen next. It is unknown what we can expect from him,” – said Poltorak.
