Admiral Essen has completed a campaign in the Mediterranean.
Modern Russian frigate Admiral Essen completed the campaign in the Mediterranean. Today the ship passed the Straits of the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus and entered the Black sea.
A Russian frigate took a Bosphorus boat, accompanied by the Turkish coast guard.
Note that in early may, Admiral Essen became part of the permanent operative connection of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean sea in the framework of the inter-fleet transition from the Baltic to the black sea fleet.
As reported, on June 23 frigate Admiral Essen and Admiral Makarov, and also a submarine Krasnodar was launched a cruise missile at ISIS positions in Syria. The defense Ministry called the launch of six rockets Caliber “massive blow”.
