The majority of health workers in Russia are aware of cases in 2018, when patients were not prescribed subsidised medicines due to their lack of pharmacies.
Most doctors participating in the survey of the Russian popular front (onf), reported lack of preferential drugs. 68 percent of survey participants said that they are aware of cases in the current year, when patients were not prescribed subsidised medicines in connection with their absence in pharmacies, reported the press service of the front on Tuesday, 2 October.
About the absences in 2018 in hospitals municipal hospitals with necessary drugs reported by 71.4 percent of respondents. With more than a third of physicians (37 percent) said the availability of soft drugs in the region is high or good, 38.8% is low.
21.3 percent of survey participants pointed to examples where painkillers couldn’t get cancer patients.
The survey involved 3 thousands of medical workers, of which 2.6 thousand – specialists. The survey was conducted jointly with the Fund independent monitoring of health services and the protection of human health “Health” through the mobile application “Directory of the doctor”, which was more than 400 health care workers.
