Russian banks in 2020 will start to charge a fee for translation by phone number
C 1 January 2020, the transfer in the system of quick payments (SBP) to banks will be paid (0,5–3 rubles per transaction). In turn, the credit organization will start to charge Commission from the customers, writes “Kommersant”.
According to the Central Bank, this year the volume of transfers via SBP exceeded 40 billion rubles. In some banks, they occupy a significant proportion. So, the “Russian standard”, the proportion of transfers through SBP reached 45.1% of the total amount of remittances between physical persons.
Market participants have concluded that the growth of transfers through SPB in the first place is provided by the fact that they are free for customers, and because of their convenience and speed. But the period of free service for banks ends and will increase the volume of transfers after the introduction of commissions — is not yet clear. The bankers expressed differently.
Some banks have already imposed the fee, but most of them do not charge. Among those who have already entered Commission, it is about 1% of the amount transferred. Some lending organizations it introduced limits below which the fee will be. Experts say that the market will take six months to a year to generate a fee that will be fair — budget for the client and profitable for the banks.
