Russia will hold massive rallies against corruption

In 84 cities of Russia today, 26 March there will be anti-corruption rallies, organized by Alexei Navalny and his supporters.

Anti-corruption rallies organized by Alexei Navalny and his supporters will be held March 26 at least in 84 cities of Russia. It is reported Radio Liberty with reference to the website of the opposition.

Of them marches in more than 20 cities – agreed. The authorities of three cities still has not made a decision on holding rallies.

The team Navalny managed to win the courts local administrations of Novosibirsk, Kazan, Perm and Nizhny Tagil. Moscow authorities refused to agree a March in the city centre, proposing to hold a rally on the outskirts of the capital. Navalny did not agree on the alternative sites and continues to insist on the demonstration on Tverskaya street. According to the TV channel “Rain”, the police will begin to arrest people only if the protesters would be to go beyond the pedestrian section of Tverskoy.

The rally of supporters of Navalny will also be held outside Russia – in London, Prague, Bonn and Basel, where activists plan to picket the building of the Russian diplomatic missions.
