Russia struck a new statement on Crimea

Russian MP proposed to repeal the acts of 1954, which confirm the transfer of the Peninsula to the Ukraine.

The Deputy of the state Duma Konstantin Zatulin said that Russia should abolish legislative acts of 1954, according to which the Crimea was transferred to Ukraine.

“The legislative power in the country, which is the successor and heir of the Soviet Union, should make the decision to cancel the acts of 1954, because we are tired to hear that in 2014 we took somebody’s land, they took someone else’s sea,” – said Zatulin at the plenary session of the “forum of friends of the Crimea.”

In Yalta, on 6 November, opened a “Forum of friends of the Crimea.” As stated by the Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation from the occupied Crimea Mikhail Sheremet, the Peninsula was attended by about 90 foreign guests.
