Russia reduced the export of coal from the occupied Donbass

The militants have sharply reduced the illegal export of coal to Europe from the occupied territories of Donbass.

In August 2017, Russia exported to Europe about 175 thousand tons of coal, illegally exported from the occupied districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

This is indicated in the data of the Russian Railways(RZD) and Federal customs service(FCS).

In comparison with July volume of exports decreased by 34%, or about 92 thousand tons.

The largest exporters of Ukrainian coal remains the Company GAZ-Alyans, controlled by Sergei Kurchenko.

In August of the ports, the company exported more than 39 thousand tons of anthracite, while in July exports amounted to 50 thousand tons.

All volumes were illegally exported South Ossetian company Vneshtorgservis, which was later reissued on GAZ-Alliance.

Another company Kurchenko – petroleum capital exported from Russia to 29.4 million tonnes of coal previously removed from the Donbass.

Company Russian anthracite exported about 27.8 thousand tons of anthracite. All volumes were delivered to the address of the Hong Kong Grecoal Limited, controlled by brothers Alexander and Sergey Melnichuk.

Another company, which co-owner is Alexander Melnichuk – Coal technologies exported about 6 thousand tons of anthracite in August.

From July 2017, the company Vneshtorgservis, the management of which is a mine holding DTEK, stopped to pass on overhead Railways, as an importer of coal. The company continues to deliver on the occupied territory of Donbass coking coal and iron ore. The company also exports finished steel products.
