The protest, which was held in Russia on 12 June, has strengthened the political position of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
Today only it can be called a real alternative to the incumbent President Vladimir Putin.
This opinion was expressed by Russian political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin.
Answering the question of whether or not action is his goal, he said: “About this target is hard to say. If we assume the purpose of strengthening the political position of Navalny, it was achieved. No other purpose of these meetings was not.” “Nobody expected that the government will go to the sandbox, clogged in the area and will be there to cry and repent. It was necessary to show that in Moscow and other cities of Russia there are people who understand that the country is moving in the wrong direction. And it was shown,” added the analyst.
Oreshkin noted serious changes in the Russian political field, namely “Destroyed mental construction built by Vladimir Putin and his entourage, according to which in Russia there is only one leader – Putin, but against him – emptiness. No matter how this emptiness is called – Zhirinovsky, Zyuganov, Mironov, Yavlinsky, but it’s empty. And the actions of Navalny are forced to accept it as an alternative. And he stated his position as an alternative leader.”
As Oreshkin is convinced, “is it a serious political victory, because the irritation and misunderstandings will accumulate and personalize now it will and can only Bulk – not Zyuganov, Yavlinsky is not”.
Illustrating his findings, the analyst suggested an interesting way: “when is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and all the other growth of his knee, little by little retreats. Navalny rose above the General level, he is not knee-deep and waist-deep in the eyes of public opinion”.
By estimations of analyst, Bulk “will be gradually to build up points.”
“There is no other alternative but to Bulk yet. Unless, of course, the Kremlin will not be such smart to construct some kind of alternative sane leader”, he concluded.
As reported, the 12th of June in the Russian Federation – in Moscow, St. Petersburg and dozens of other cities held protests. According to recent reports, Moscow has detained 600 people in St. Petersburg – 300.
