In Russia said that the situation with mass protests in Romania should be resolved peacefully through democratic means.
This is evidenced by the comment of the MFA of Russia published by the press service of the Ministry.
“The scale and confrontational in nature and continuing to January 22, 2017 anti-government mass protest demonstrations cannot fail to cause alarm. We are convinced that in the face of rising tensions rose on the streets of cities, the Romanian leaders will find ways to prevent further division in the society and overcome the current difficult situation on the basis of the Constitution and laws of Romania”, – stated in the message.
In addition, the foreign Ministry said that “to resolve peacefully through democratic means of sharp differences between rival political forces, there is no alternative”.
The Ministry believes that “the Romanian leaders in recent years too much attention to the creation of the mythical image of the enemy – Russia.” Therefore, following the statement of the foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, in Romania “saw the acute problems of their own country, in which the current situation forces us to focus”.
