The latest Russian fighter jet that is closest to the fifth class of vehicles crashed Tuesday in Khabarovsk Krai. Su-57 crashed during a test flight in Komsomolsk-on-Amur 111 km from the airfield, said United aircraft Corporation.
The fighter, which is being developed for almost 10 years and declared as the only Russian with the technology of invisibility (“stealth”), collapsed due to the failure of the control plane, said two sources in the military-industrial complex.
According to one of them, the most likely cause is a failure in the management of the tail.
To investigate the incident convened the special Commission. The system of emergency evacuation of the plane worked normally, the pilot ejected and survived, said the KLA.

The source of the Agency also noted that the crashed su-57 was the first production model of the fighter. Transfer machines were scheduled for the current week.
According to “RIA Novosti”, the su-57 in the fall exploded and totally destroyed. Experts have begun the search for the black boxes.
