Russia launches first passenger train who is going round Ukraine

The launch of trains will occur in two stages.

According to the Director of Railways for passenger transport Dmitry Pegova, passenger trains will run in two stages. First, there will switch those formulations which have no intermediate stops on the old line, and then the rest. According to RZD, through Ukraine 61 operates steam passenger trains, a third of which were stops on the old line.

First bypassing Ukraine will be the train from Moscow to Kislovodsk, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Adler and back, two-storey structure from St. Petersburg to Adler and back.

It is noted that the double-track electrified line began to build at the zhuravka – Millerovo in 2014. The track-laying completed in August, and the movement was planned to start in the fall. The cost of the project was estimated at about $ 56 billion. Prior to that, trains on the Russian South, were on the territory of Ukraine.
