The U.S. is considering the arrival of Russian military aircraft this weekend as an unwanted provocation.
The US President Donald trump said that Russia should withdraw from Venezuela.
“Russia needs to leave,” said the American leader, commenting on the situation in Venezuela.
The leader of the USA noted that us authorities “all options are open” in order to achieve this.
Vice-President Michael Penny, commenting on the situation, said the presence of Russian military in Venezuela is an unwanted provocation.
“The United States sees the arrival of Russian military aircraft this weekend as an unwanted provocation. We call on Russia to immediately stop all support of the Maduro regime and take the side of the Huang Guide and many other States throughout the hemisphere and around the world to restore freedom,” said Pence.
Russian diplomats, in turn, said that troops arrived from Russia to Caracas “to participate in bilateral consultations”. The Kremlin also pointed out that this visit takes place at the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation.
