The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that Russia tries to wage hybrid war against all of Europe and almost all countries of the world.
According to him, is not only interference in elections and propaganda.
“This is a threat to the very existence of democratic institutions and way of life. Now Russia controls Syria, a lot of things in Libya, keeping, Yak noose, a factor which refugees will go to this or the other side. How Europe will come out of this situation – depends on us”, – said Klimkin.
He is convinced that in the future Ukraine will not only determine your path to Europe, “but also to define the European project.”
The Minister noted that in Europe there is an understanding that “more than 300 thousand Ukrainians have been fighting with weapons in their hands.”
“Europe through compromise will not go. There is already clear to everyone that this hybrid war is a global war against the whole world. Is not a local Russia’s actions in one country… the Netherlands, Catalonia… we are talking about the future of the transatlantic world and the place of Ukraine in this world is more important than it seemed before,” – said the head of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry.
