This is the second intercept Russian fighter aircraft of NATO
“To intercept targets in the air was raised a MiG-31 from the composition of the active-duty air defense forces of the Northern fleet. The crew of the interceptor approached the target at a safe distance and visually identified it as a patrol and anti-submarine aircraft of the Norwegian air force P-3C “Orion” – said the Russian defense Ministry.
According to authorities, at about 12:30 control of air space over neutral waters of the Barents sea was discovered by a plane flying along the state border of the Russian Federation off the transmitter.
