He stole more than 1 billion rubles.
Petty-bourgeois court of Moscow has sentenced the Ukrainian hacker Yury Lysenko, finding him guilty of theft of more than 1 billion rubles to the banks.
“Lysenko to appoint punishment in the form of 13 years of a colony of strict regime”, – announced the decision of the judge.
Version trial, a group of hackers, whose leader was a citizen of Ukraine Yuriy Lysenko, from July to November 2014, jointly stole money from commercial banks. The prosecution says the money was stolen using a special program which allowed to remove them from the accounts of Bank customers, and then restored the balance with funds from the financial institutions.
The prosecution alleges all the defendants in damages of PJSC “Promsvyazbank” in the amount of 39.5 million rubles, JSC “Bank URALSIB” – in the amount of 45 million rubles, JSC “trust Bank” – 106 million rubles and OAO “Bank Zenit” – 883,5 million.
In addition to Yury Lysenko, the defendants are 13 people. Depending on a role of everyone they are accused under article “Organization of criminal community and participation in it”, “Fraud in the sphere of computer information” and “Theft”.
