In Russia concerned about the process of de-communization in Poland and decided to enter a response. With such offer on 25 July asked the Federation Council to the head of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin.

The Senate adopted during the session of the Federation Council’s appeal to Putin and asked him to instruct the relevant Federal Executive bodies to develop a set of sanctions in cooperation with Poland. Previously, Andrzej Duda signed a law banning the promotion of communism. It is prohibited to use the names of buildings and monuments.
