Russia has deployed special forces in Egypt

Western and Egyptian sources believe that Russia wants to control Libya’s future.

Russia has deployed special forces near air base in the West of Egypt, near the border with Libya.

According to interlocutors of the Agency of the Egyptian security services, the Russian contingent consists of 22 people.

The movement of troops took place within a few days past.

In the fall of 2016, it was reported that three hundred Russian paratroopers first landed in Africa for exercises. The exercise was commanded by the Russian and the Egyptian military under the supervision of more than thirty representatives from different countries.
