Russia has deployed on exercises in the Crimea Marines

Marines of the Caspian flotilla of the Russian Federation deployed on maneuvers in Crimea, reported “Interfax” on Wednesday the press service of the southern military district (YUVO).

“The transfer of Marines from the Caspian sea was held in the framework of the verification of combat readiness, announced by the commander of the YUVO Colonel-General Alexander by Dvornikova,” – said the press service.

According to the PUBLICATION, the Marines of the Caspian flotilla proceeded to the active phase of tactical exercises on unfamiliar ground Opuk on the black sea coast in the Eastern part of the Crimean Peninsula.

“In the field personnel division of the marine corps fulfills the task of equipment of firing positions, the change of the concentration areas, the organization of their security and defense”, – said the press service.

In the district said that from the Crimea, the Marines of the Caspian flotilla will be deployed to combined arms training ground in Dagestan. There

in cooperation with naval infantry black sea fleet, they will hold joint tactical exercises with the use of drones.

In the southern military district held a test of combat readiness, which attracted more than 6,5 thousand military personnel and about 1.5 thousand units of military and special equipment of the infantry, tank, artillery units stationed in Chechnya, Dagestan, South Ossetia, Krasnodar Krai, and Marines black sea fleet and the Caspian flotilla.
