Federal service of execution of punishments (FSIN) of Russia has checked and confirmed the information on the use of slave labor women prisoners in Mordovia.
This was announced by Deputy Director of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia Valery Maksimenko.
According to him, the convicted women were engaged in sewing clothes for 18 hours a day, performing “left orders”.
Despite the fact that complaints about slave labor in the Mordovian colony did for a long time, to conduct a confirming test are only now through the hidden exit of employees of the Central apparatus of the Federal penitentiary service.
“People came to the colony and introduced the requirement to conduct the inspection. While they were at the head of the colony, the staff managed to hide the video recordings in the Central archive of the colony, checkpoints and officers on duty, but managed to withdraw to record with the DVR, prison, ” – said Maksimenko.
Materials were transferred to the Investigative Committee for the solution of a question on excitation of criminal case. The chief of a colony Yury Kupriyanov dismissed from his post.
