Russia gave the Philippines thousands of Kalashnikovs

The President of the Philippines boasted help from a reliable partner.

“We have Kalashnikovs, five thousand, and 20 army trucks. It is a gift of Russia to combat terrorism. The transport will arrive on 22 October,” said Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, adding a short phrase: “it’s free”.

Russian weapons should arrive just in time for the regional meeting, which will be attended by the Minister of defence of Russia. In addition to these expected supplies of ammunition and trucks.
