About 700 soldiers and over 200 pieces of equipment is given in full combat readiness.
In the Kuban began a large-scale command and staff exercises of the armed forces. This was stated by the head of the press service of the district Vadim Astafiev.
“About 700 soldiers and over 200 pieces of equipment is given in full combat readiness and made marches with a total length of over 700 kilometers in the area of concentration, which will fulfill the introductory team to repel the attack of the imaginary enemy, livelihood issues at the campfires and orienteering in unfamiliar areas,” he said.
According to ASTA, the exercise will be simulated changing the locations of the marches and the reflection of massive missile and air attack conventional enemy.
Recall, September 14, will start military exercises “West-2017” and will last a week, until September 20. This year most of them will take place on the territory of Belarus, which will involve 10 200 soldiers: 7200 from the Armed forces of Belarus, and approximately 3,000 from the Armed forces of the Russian Federation. Total participation in the exercises will involve servicemen of 12700 and up to 680 pieces of equipment.
