RUMOR: new Friday the 13th will be released in 2020

The portal of the Devil’s Eyes recently put forward a rather interesting assumption, which is closely associated with one of the most anticipated “comebacks”. Talk about the next restart of the series Friday the 13th has long been underway, but the fate of the film looked hopelessly sad. Due to the failure to hire the latest series of horror about the girl from the well, “Calls”, Paramount decided to turn the long-awaited project – until at least 2019.

But the screens broke “It”, making a splash and broke into all the records of horror. Its parent company New Line Cinema after such a success is simply obliged once again to draw attention to horror movies with “adult” rating. At the same time, the validity of the rights to Jason Voorhees for Paramount expires in 2018, after which the character passes under the custody of WB, and the heads of New Line Cinema. Now on the foreground at the Studio, of course, “It. Part two,” but one of the following projects may well become the fresh “Friday”, after which will be possible once more to push Jason and Freddy.

Why is the title listed the year 2020? Yes, because it would be nice to give to a maniac in a hockey mask new incarnation of the 40-year anniversary of the Saga. So rumors are rumors, but there is nothing improbable in them are not observed.
