Tymoshenko’s party intends to push through Parliament a bill for the removal of the President of Ukraine from power.
Faction “Fatherland” initiates to push through the Parliament the draft law on dismissal of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
In particular, this is reported by Russian “Izvestia”.
It is noted that the idea of the political power of Yulia Tymoshenko supported the “Opposition bloc”, “Samopomich” and some independent MPs. In addition, the final stage of the impeachment Poroshenko can support and the leader of “Radical party” Oleg Lyashko.
We will add, according to the publication, the bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada and soon it should consider.
As told a source of the resource in the “Fatherland”, the party unanimously supported the impeachment of the President, because “to tolerate corruption and abuse of power anymore”.
According to MP from the faction Borys Tarasyuk, the President and the government “has not fulfilled the task which requires them to people.”
“Izvestiya” also reported that the Constitution provides for the possibility of impeachment, however, the law on this procedure and has not appeared, therefore, almost impossible to remove from power the current leader of the state.
As a result, according to the MP from the “Batkivshchyna” Yuriy Odarchenko, now the President of Ukraine can only carry a political liability in future elections.
Now the Constitution provides for impeachment for state treason or other crime. To eliminate the President, the Parliament initiates the impeachment, creates a Commission of inquiry, attracting to her a special Prosecutor and investigators.
Subsequently, the results of the work of the Commission, the Parliament shall decide with two thirds of the constitutional composition make the decision to charge, but the decision of deputies should check the constitutional court.
The Supreme court in turn should confirm the conclusion about presence of signs of a crime. And only after that the final decision is taken by three fourths of votes of the constitutional composition of the Verkhovna Rada.
