Rosneft sells stake in retail business to the Chinese

Russian company Rosneft is negotiating the sale of its stake of the Chinese company CEFC

About it reports Reuters.

The details of the agreement are unknown. The Agency assumes that the Russian company may issue additional shares or sell part of existing. Another source said that Rosneft may sell its stake in the retail business, i.e., tankers, storage tanks or filling stations.

The deal was discussed at two meetings with the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin and Chairman of the Board of the CEFC E Jianming this month.

Press Secretary of “Rosneft” Mikhail Leontiev in the comments said that the company is considering “all possible options of cooperation with various interested companies in China”.
