Social activists refused the offer of the Corporation Roshen to spend sponsor funds the competition on completion of appearance of the “Theatre on Podol”.
“We had a meeting here last month. I invited representatives of public organizations of the descent and offered to hold for patronage account of the architectural competition for the change in appearance of the theater. Suggested that the criteria of the competition and the composition of the Commission we have identified together. But without changing the pitch, because then the theatre would be left without a scene. They said, “No, we are not satisfied. We continue to fight. To carry 10 meters height of the building”, – said the President of Roshen Vyacheslav Moskalevsky.
According to him, the customer of construction is the theater of Kyiv city state administration, Roshen – only a patron of the arts, which allocates money for it.
Among other current social projects: modernization of the zoo in Cherkassy, scheduled to open in April. Also, the company has a long-term program of charitable aid of the national children’s specialized hospital “OKHMATDYT” in Kyiv.
