These days the actor Christopher Lloyd, the beloved “Doc brown” from the trilogy “Back to the future”, is in Moscow at the festival of Comic Con Russia. Meanwhile, in faraway America new film with his participation. Talking about horror “Sound” (The Sound), in which Lloyd was joined by rose McGowan (“Grindhouse”, the series “Charmed”).
We have already talked about this project, but we would remind you the synopsis:
Kelly is a writer and professional skeptic. As a specialist in acoustics, it uses devices that capture low frequency sound waves to again and again to destroy the myths about the paranormal in his online blog. And here’s a new case: one of the metro stations as if haunted by a Ghost. Kelly immediately goes there and learns a story about a suicide that occurred here 40 years ago and for reasons that are unclear. The investigation leads the woman into the depths of the abandoned stations, where her skepticism is destined to pass through a brutal test of strength. In the darkness of the subway, she is confronted by something very evil. Now Kelly will have to face with their own memories of the ghosts to find the truth and the way back to the light.
The plot sounds interesting, and the theme of the horrors of the metro is truly bottomless. All these urban legends about wandering underground ghosts or rats-mutants, eerie folklore and less creepy characters, which, according to rumors, can be found in the bowels of the subway… it’s Cool, for horror is very fertile ground. It is important to approach its cultivation.
After the second trailer we got a passage. No Karpaty was not shown, but allowed to feel the atmosphere of a deserted subway. And to hear a sort of variant stories around the campfire.
“Sound” on his own script took Jenna Matheson, debuting in the role of Director. In addition to McGowan and Lloyd in the caste lit Michael Eklund (“Alarm call”), Jane Moffat (“Highway 60”), Stephen Mchattie (“a history of violence”) and Richard Gunn (“Dark angel”).
On the Russian release, alas, heard nothing.
