The second racket of the Ukraine’s Lesia Tsurenko in the third round of the Open championship of France lost to Jelena Ostapenko.
Tennis player for the second time met in 2017 – in Acapulco: Tsurenko won in two sets, but in Prague on the ground Ostapenko equalized in personal meetings. Both girls played for the first time in the third round of Roland Garros favourite for the match to be 19-year-old Latvian, who managed this year to visit the final of a clay tournament.
First set Tsurenko lost one wicket – Les did not have time for a quick Ostapenko, who with amazing stability balls laid out on the lines. Only when the score was 0:5 Ukrainian made one break back but immediately lost his serve and come to terms with the loss of the party.

Alas, their advantage Tsurenko quickly lost. A second chance to break away Ukrainian is also not used – at the score 3:2 and 30:0 Tsurenko scored an easy ball at the net, gave his submission, and with it gave confidence Ostapenko in the coming end of the match. In the eighth game Elena made the break and made a request for access to the 1/8 finals. Tsurenko found the strength for a reverse break, but in the next game once again lost his serve and was eliminated from the tournament.
To reach the third round of Roland Garros Lesya Tsurenko has earned 130 ranking points and 118 thousand euros in prize money. Ukrainian is very close to
debut into the top 30 WTA rankings.
