Rogozin suggested China create a joint lunar base

The head of the Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, has proposed to China to create a joint lunar base and to form a joint constellation of satellites, Earth sensing, according to RIA “Novosti”.

“You have to understand that Russia and China have a great future for cooperation. A lot of talk about lunar scientific base. It’s time would be to land this ideology, to explain what we mean lunar base. I understand what we mean. We want to develop a system of monitoring of outer space, explore deep space, and in the future to enter the international cooperation in the field of asteroid-comet security. Let’s do it together”, — quotes Agency the statement Rogozin, at the St. Petersburg international economic forum.

Also the head of the Roscosmos proposed to create a single group of remote sensing satellites of the Earth. “We are ready to enter the common market, to the extent to create a joint grouping of remote sensing. Together we can do a lot,” — said Rogozin.

He also said that China shares with Russia information about the construction of a space carrier rocket of superheavy class, which Russia plans to launch in 2028.

“Now our Chinese friends are negotiating with us and openly share the information that is associated with the creation of the superheavy rocket. We sort of understand the parameters of this missile, we understand the payload”, — the Agency quotes Rogozin.
