Robots could destroy humanity – Hawking

According to astrophysics, the rapid development of artificial intelligence is a threat.

British physicist Stephen Hawking has said that rapidly developing artificial intelligence is a threat to humans.

“If now people develop computer viruses in the future someone will be able to create artificial intelligence that will be able to improve and reproduce itself. This will become a new form of life, which will superior to man,” said Hawking.

At the same time, according to the scientist, even if these prospects do not materialize, humanity risks to destroy itself.

“We have passed the point of no return. The earth is becoming too small for us, the population is growing at an alarming rate,” – said the scientist.

As a solution to this problem, Hawking suggests it is more involved in science, to begin colonization of other planets.
