The Minister called an acceptable size the minimum pension in Ukraine.
The Minister of social policy Andrei Reva believes that now is the acceptable size of the minimum pension in Ukraine is UAH 4,000.
He told about it on air “5 channel”.
“In the current circumstances I believe that the pension, which would ensure a normal life, should be in today’s Ukraine not less than 4 thousand hryvnias”, – he said.
Reva also told about the high pensions of officials, which is often mentioned policy.
“We have a restriction on the payment of pension is 740 UAH 10. That is, any calculation that is done for new retirees, the pension is paid not more than 10 UAH 740. The exception is those people who before the introduction of the legislative prohibition received a pension higher. To date we have about 20 thousand in Ukraine with 12 million pensioners”, – he told.
“The largest pension in Ukraine is given to the citizen, test pilot, Hero of Ukraine. His pension per month is 58 thousand UAH”, – he added.
According to him, talking about 100-200 thousand UAH pension “it is talking”.
He noted that Ukrainian judges under the law receive a life annuity and receive a pension in the amount of salary that can reach “several hundred thousand.”
“But we the draft law on the pension reform provided for bringing these rules into line with common standards,” said Reva.
As you know, Reva said that the projected growth of the average wage by 37 per cent to 7100 UAH is expected by the end of the year.
