Problems arose because of debts.
In five districts of Lviv region was under threat of a heating season due to the debts of local heat supply companies.
For the past few months have accumulated debts for services in gas distribution to the company from Bodytalkers, Berislavteplokomunenergo, Drogobychvodokanal, Stenocaptioners and Chervonohradteplocomunenergo.
As of today the total debt of enterprises is 13.7 million.
In accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, “lvovgaz” stops supplying natural gas to these facilities until full repayment of the debt.
Since the tariff for distribution of gas are the only source of funds in the company, late payments of enterprises CTV made it impossible for a proper training of the gas distribution system in the region for the heating season 2017-2018 and jeopardize the timely start.
Today, from-for million debts heaters at JSC “lvovgaz” problems with the financing of repair works and their execution in full, payment of taxes and the payment of wages to employees.
“We have repeatedly appealed to the power plant informing about the necessity to repay the debt in the shortest possible time. At the same time, the management of the enterprise were asked to sign a contract for debt restructuring and to submit schedules of repayment. Such a move would allow the heaters to pay the accumulated debt gradually and avoid disconnecting the boiler from the gas. Local authorities Brody, Boryslav, Drohobych, Stebnyk and Chervonograd also completely aloof in this matter. In addition, we also sent letters to deputies of city councils of these cities, urging them to take control of the situation and to contribute to the repayment of debt of enterprises CTV in front of JSC “lvovgaz”. After all, as elected representatives of local communities they should deal with their problems. However, the result does not have”, – said the Chairman of the Board of JSC “lvovgaz” Yuri Voinovich.
According to him, the heatsupplying enterprises have not used any of the options to resolve the situation. In addition, the heaters made no steps to meet. In this regard, JSC “lvovgaz” was forced to cease the distribution of gas to enterprises TKE Brody, Boryslav, Drohobych, Stebnyk and Chervonograd.
According to the Code gas distribution system the GDS operator shall stop distribution of natural gas on objects of the consumer until full repayment of the debt. PJSC “lvovgaz” draws the attention of the heads of the heatsupplying enterprises to enter the new heating season without problems, it is necessary to pay for distribution services of natural gas.
