Residents of Kiev promised to clean up the Darnytskyi area

The repair would emit 63 million.

In the spring of 2018 Kyiv authorities want to do a major overhaul of the Darnitsa area.

Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said that for two or three months on the square are going to completely upgrade the paving of the roadway, sidewalks and crosswalks, and install new lighting and fencing.

Renovation work will last 2-3 months. The cost of works will amount to 63 million.

Interestingly, exactly two years ago, the government announced its intention to build on the area of three-level traffic interchange with the tunnel, which will link Kharkiv highway with the prospect of Reunification, the two dvukhpolosnykh flyovers with a length of 400 meters, and two distribution self-regulating rings above ground level, which will move the shunting flow.

Note, the last reconstruction of the transport hub was done 30 years ago – in 1987.
