In the water of the pond found a significant amount of bacteria (microorganisms from the group of purple photosynthetic ciabattari), which usually develop in waters with high levels of organic pollution, the press service of the State ecological inspection of Ukraine.
“Mass development of bacteria from this group usually occurs in waters with elevated organic contaminants in the presence of sulfur compounds. Sometimes the development of these bacteria becomes an “blooms”, i.e., it can occur discoloration of the water from the usual red”, comment to the EPA.
