The main buyer of Ukrainian berries became neighboring Belarus.
Ukraine continues increasing the exports of strawberries. As reported by analysts of “APK-inform: vegetables and fruits”, in may 2017, Ukrainian growers have shipped to the foreign market 454 ton berries, which is 1.4 times more than in the same period of 2016.
These exports are a record for all history of independence of the country.
Analysts say that the main buyer, as in the previous year, made Belarus. Also experts do not exclude that the part shipped to Belarus strawberries could be resold to Russia.
As reported, abroad the growing popularity of berries and fruits from Ukraine. Exports of such products increased significantly compared to last year.
