The Chinese authorities announced the termination of the last power plant of Beijing, coal-fired plants. Now all the electricity in the city is generated by natural gas.
This news comes on the background of smog that once again shrouded the capital of China. Only a few days ago, the Prime Minister of China Li Keqiang promised in front of the national Parliament to bring back the blue sky over the country.
Beijing – China’s first city, all power plants which will work for gas. The country suffers from frequent smog. Rapid industrialization has led to significant air pollution in the country.
Previously, the government of Beijing has established environmental police, designed to fight smog.
