Ukrainian head coach Serhiy Rebrov has completed its work in Kiev “Dynamo”.
Rebrov for the last match of the 32nd Matchday of the Premier League against Chornomorets. Dynamo thanks to a goal by Andriy Yarmolenko scored a victory with the score 2:1 and on a positive note, said goodbye to 32-year-old coach.
“I’m not going to say what we talked about with Igor Mikhailovich, but we shook hands and decided not to continue cooperation. I would like to thank the team, the President, who gave me the chance to work in a great team and all the fans, who any minute
supported me and the team.
Wished everyone good luck. Next season will be even more difficult. I became the fan of “Dynamo” and would like everyone to support this team.
Will have enough Luggage, got in the “Dynamo”, to work in a foreign club? I can’t say. I did not conduct with anybody any negotiations. I want to devote time to his family. I already talked to several clubs about to go and see fees. Let’s see what will happen next. Now I want to relax from the hype which was in the last week or two,” said Rebrov, at a press conference after the match with Chornomorets.
Rebrov headed Dynamo from April 2014. Under the guidance of former club striker “white-blue” were twice Champions of Ukraine twice took the national Cup. In addition, ribs for the first time in 17 years brought “Dynamo” in the playoffs of the Champions League and reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
It is expected that in the near future the President of Dynamo Kyiv Igor Surkis will name a new head coach. The favourite for the vacant post shall be considered by the Belarusian specialist Alexander Khatskevich.
