The current champion of Spain and Champions League winner real Madrid was close to making the biggest transfer in football history.
Authoritative Spanish newspaper “Marca”, known for its closeness to real Madrid, reports about successful negotiations “Creamy” with Monaco for 18-year-old French striker Kilian Mbappe.
For a young scorer, the Spaniards will pay 150-160 million euros. Another 20-30 million will be spelled out in the deal as a potential bonus.
In the struggle for Mbappe real Madrid ahead of PSG, Arsenal, Juventus and Barcelona, which as a Frenchman saw the replacement for outgoing club Neymar.
Mbappe will sign with real Madrid a six-year contract. Each year, the player will earn seven million euros per year, making him the highest paid player in his age category.
