In the largest desert in the world Sahara (North Africa) for the first time in 37 years the snow fell.
The snow lay about a day, until melted.
Photographer Kareem Boucetta, who managed to fix this phenomenon in the Algerian town of ain the Conditions says that everyone was shocked by what they saw in the desert with snow, as it is very rare.
For all the observations in the Sahara snow has fallen twice. The first time was February 18, 1979, in ain the Conditions, then the snow storm lasted about half an hour.
