The law gained 230 votes.
Parliament today, 3 July, supported the draft Law on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning creation of economic incentives to strengthen the protection of the rights of the child on proper maintenance.
For a decision voted 230 deputies.
According to the document, the penalties for failure to pay child support are as follows: 20% of the amount of debt in one year, 30% over 2 years, 50% for more than three years.
Introduced automated arrest the debtor on Executive manufacture about collecting of the alimony in the manner specified by the Ministry of justice in coordination with the National Bank of Ukraine.
Establishes the possibility of a parent who by court the child lives with a disabled or seriously ill child to independently solve the issue of temporary child outside Ukraine with the purpose of treatment, training, and rest in the presence of debt the other parent to pay alimony, the total amount of which exceeds the sum of the respective payments for three months. The consent from parents is not required if the child will travel for up to one month.
The law also increases penalties for failure to pay child support and increases circulation period and the period for which may be recovered child support: reduced the total amount owed for failure to pay child support for up to three months for the purpose of community service. In the case of an re within a year of an administrative offence for failure to pay child support, provides for the application of an administrative penalty in the form of community service for a term from two hundred forty to three hundred and sixty hours.
In respect of the persons evading from serving an administrative penalty in the form of community service, the law establishes administrative liability and provides for administrative arrest up to 10 days, and in case of malicious evasion of criminal liability and imprisonment of up to two years.
