Medical reform in Ukraine – draft Law on the state financial guarantees for providing medical services and pharmaceuticals, which in April 2017 was prepared in the Cabinet – finally, Parliament supported.

The changes provide for budgetary funds will be to save people in emergency situations and care during a deadly disease. Free also birth. But out-of-pocket patient will have to pay for aesthetic medicine, dentistry and partially treatment to a specialist without a referral.
In addition, the document specifies that the development of standards of care, assessing medical technologies, accredited healthcare institutions will implement a specialized state non-profit Agency.
The essence of the reform lies in the fact that when you go to the hospital, there will directly get the funds, without the intervention of the officials, who distribute them manually.
